We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant with experience in Tally ERP, day-to-day accounting operations, banking activities, and store/stock coordination. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in the interior fit-out or construction industry and be able to manage accounts independently.

Key Responsibilities1. Accounting & Finance

  • Manage day-to-day accounting entries in Tally ERP.
  • Maintain books of accounts including purchase, sales, journal, payment, and receipt entries.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable, including vendor and client reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements, ledgers, and MIS reports.
  • Assist in finalization of accounts and audit support.

2. Banking Operations

  • Handle daily bank transactions including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and fund transfers.
  • Bank reconciliation on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
  • Coordinate with banks for cheque clearance, RTGS/NEFT payments, BG/LC-related matters (if applicable).

3. Store & Inventory Coordination

  • Coordinate with the store team for material inward/outward updates.
  • Verify GRNs, purchase bills, stock registers, and material issue records.
  • Assist in reconciling physical stock with system records.
  • Ensure accurate documentation for material movement related to project sites.

4. Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain vendor records, agreements, and supporting documents.
  • Assist in GST filings, TDS computation, and statutory compliance.
  • Prepare and file invoices, supporting documents, and payment follow-ups.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in interior fit-out or construction.
  • Strong knowledge of Tally ERP and MS Excel.
  • Good understanding of banking procedures and day-to-day finance operations.
  • Basic understanding of store/inventory management.
  • Ability to handle work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.

Additional Preferences

  • Experience in project-based accounting.
  • Knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory requirements.
  • Ability to coordinate with vendors, site teams, and management.
