Job Title: COO for AI Platform

As part of our  strategic expansion,  we are building an AI Platform, an intelligent analytics platform that enables  industries to optimize operations. We are seeking an experienced, visionary Chief Operating officer to lead this AI division,  from concept to commercial success — overseeing platform completion, technical innovation, go-to-market strategy, and revenue growth.

Role Overview

As COO, you will be responsible for turning this AI Platform into a scalable and profitable business unit. You will lead a multidisciplinary team of  AI engineers, to build, refine, and commercialize the platform, while forging strategic partnerships with industrial clients, and technology providers. This is a hands-on executive role for a dynamic leader who can operate at the intersection of technology, business strategy, and technological  systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic, technical, and commercial development of the  AI platform.
  • Work closely with software and AI engineers to finalize, enhance, and continuously update the platform.
  • Establish product roadmaps, budgets, and operational plans for product rollout and scaling.
  • Design and implement go-to-market and sales strategies targeting various process industries and utilities in India and around the globe.
  • Develop partnerships with other companies, OEMs, EPCs, and digital service providers.
  • Represent the platform at industry events, conferences, and investor presentations.
  • Oversee P&L, revenue generation, and long-term business growth objectives.

Qualifications

  • 10–15 years of experience in a leadership role within energy, technology, industrial automation, or AI/IoT platforms.
  • Proven success in building and scaling a technology product or business unit, preferably in B2B or industrial software.
  • Strong understanding of industrial processes in utilities and industries, including performance, reliability, and efficiency metrics.
  • Solid knowledge of AI/ML, IoT data platforms, and SaaS product commercialization.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to lead technical and business teams simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and financial acumen.
  • Degree in Engineering or Computer Science, with Business Administration or  MBA.  advanced technical degree preferred.
