Job Description: Graphic Designer

Position Overview:

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our team. This role involves designing visually appealing layouts and ensuring accurate typesetting for print and digital publications. The ideal candidate should have a strong eye for design and creativity, a passion for typography, and proficiency in industry-standard design tools.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Graphic Design:

Create visually appealing designs for book covers, promotional materials, and marketing assets.

Develop layouts and templates for print and digital publications.

Collaborate with authors, editors, and marketing teams to translate ideas into engaging designs.

Ensure brand consistency across all visual materials.

2. Tools and Technology:

Work with design software like Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Corel Draw and other publishing tools.

¢ Prepare files for printing, ensuring they meet technical specifications.

¢ Optimize designs for digital platforms, including eBooks and online publications.

3. Collaboration and Communication:

¢ Liaise with printers and vendors to ensure high-quality production.

¢ Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

¢ Respond to feedback and make revisions promptly.

Qualifications and Skills:

¢ Bachelors degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.

¢ 1-3 years of experience in graphic design or typesetting (preferred).

¢ Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).

¢ Strong understanding of typography, layout, and color theory.

¢ Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

¢ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
