Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented
WordPress Developer
to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing websites using WordPress, along with creating custom themes and plugins as needed. You should have a strong understanding of front-end and back-end development, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain responsive WordPress websites.
  • Customize existing themes and develop new custom themes and plugins.
  • Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to create high-quality digital experiences.
  • Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve website issues.
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
  • Stay current on new technologies and trends in WordPress and web development.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a WordPress Developer.
  • Strong proficiency in
    PHP

  • Experience with
    WordPress theme and plugin development

  • Familiarity with
    MySQL
    databases and version control tools like

  • Basic understanding of

    website analytics tools

    page speed optimization
    .
  • Familiarity with page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with
    WooCommerce

  • Knowledge of other CMSs and frameworks is a plus (e.g., Shopify, Laravel).
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
