Government Engineering College, West Champaran, founded by the Government of Bihar under the "Saat Nischaya" initiative, aims to facilitate youth contributions towards economic and social betterment through higher education development and strengthening the state's skilled workforce supply. Established in 2019 under the Department of Science and Technology, Bihar, the college is affiliated with Aryabhatta Knowledge University, Patna, and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education. Currently, the college operates at Motihari College of Engineering, Motihari, while its proposed building in Kumar Bagh, 7 KM from Bettiah, is under construction.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Coordinator of Startup Cell at GECWC located in Bettiah. The Coordinator will be responsible for managing day-to-day activities within the startup cell, including identifying and nurturing potential startups, organizing workshops and events, providing mentorship and support, liaising with industry experts, managing collaboration with external partners, and ensuring smooth operations of the startup cell.

- Startup management and mentorship skills
- Experience in organizing workshops and events
- Strong networking and collaboration skills with industry experts
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Familiarity with the startup ecosystem and entrepreneurial mindset
- Relevant qualifications in Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields
- Experience in higher education institutions or similar roles is a plus
