The Hotel Apprentice supports daily hotel operations while gaining hands-on experience across different departments. This role is designed to develop foundational skills in hospitality, customer service, and hotel management. Under the supervision of experienced staff, the apprentice assists with guest services, operational tasks, and administrative duties to ensure a smooth and welcoming guest experience.
Key Responsibilities Guest Services
- Welcome and assist guests with check-in/check-out procedures.
- Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints.
Front Office Support
- Assist with reservations, room assignments, and updating the property management system (PMS).
- Answer phone calls and emails following hotel communication standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
Housekeeping Support
- Learn and assist with room cleaning procedures and housekeeping standards.
- Replenish linens, guest amenities, and supplies.
- Support inventory control and storage organization.
Food & Beverage Assistance (if applicable)
- Support restaurant, bar, or room-service staff with basic service tasks.
- Set up dining areas, buffets, or event spaces.
- Ensure cleanliness and compliance with food safety standards.
Administrative & Operational Support
- Assist supervisors with paperwork, daily logs, and operational reports.
- Participate in training sessions and staff meetings.
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and security protocols.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or currently enrolled in a hospitality program (preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Internship
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: ₹10, ₹12,000.00 per month
