Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Associate position based in Mumbai. The Associate will handle legal research, drafting, and review of contracts, agreements, and pleadings. Responsibilities include managing a variety of cases across civil, commercial, and corporate law domains, attending court proceedings, and providing strategic legal advisory services. The role also involves liaising with clients to understand their legal needs and ensure alignment with their business objectives while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Legal Research, Case Law Analysis, and Drafting Legal Documents
- Knowledge and experience in Civil & Commercial Litigation, Contract Law, and Corporate Advisory
- Expertise in Negotiation, Dispute Resolution, and Arbitration
- Excellent Communication, Presentation, and Interpersonal Skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
- A Law degree (LL.B or equivalent) from a recognized institution is required
- Membership with the Bar Council of India is mandatory
- Prior experience in litigation across courts in India or similar jurisdictions is highly preferred
- Proficiency in legal drafting software and tools is a plus
