Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned .NET Cloud Architect with proven expertise in designing and

building high-performance, scalable, multi-tenant SaaS applications on the cloud. The

ideal candidate will bring deep technical knowledge of the Microsoft .NET ecosystem,

cloud-native architecture (preferably Azure), and a strong understanding of the

Upstream Oil & Gas domain, including exploration, drilling, production, and reservoir

management.

Key Responsibilities:


• Architect and lead the end-to-end development of multi-tenant SaaS platforms

using .NET Core / .NET 6+ and cloud-native services.


• Design secure, scalable, high-availability architectures optimized for

performance and cost on Azure or other major cloud platforms.


• Define multi-tenancy strategies (e.g., shared database, schema per tenant) based

on business and technical requirements.


• Drive DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks

to enable continuous delivery.


• Collaborate closely with product owners, domain experts, and engineering

teams to translate complex business needs into technical solutions.


• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in data privacy,

security, and regulatory compliance for the Oil & Gas sector.


• Guide decisions on data modeling, API design, event-driven architecture,

microservices, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).


• Mentor and guide development teams on architectural decisions, design patterns,

and performance optimization techniques.

Required Skills & Qualifications:


• 10+ years of experience in software architecture and development with .NET

technologies.


• Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core/.NET 6+, and RESTful API development.
• 5+ years of experience designing and deploying cloud-native applications on

Microsoft Azure (preferred) or AWS.


• Deep experience with multi-tenant SaaS architecture, including tenant isolation,

metering, provisioning, and lifecycle management.


• Solid understanding of database design (SQL Server, Cosmos DB, or PostgreSQL),

and data partitioning strategies.


• Experience with event-driven architectures, using tools like Azure Service Bus,

Event Grid, or Kafka.


• Working knowledge of container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes

(AKS preferred).


• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Bicep, or ARM

templates.


• Strong background in the Upstream Oil & Gas domain, with understanding of

industry-specific workflows, data formats (e.g., WITSML, PRODML), and integration

standards.

Nice to Have:


• Experience integrating with Oil & Gas digital platforms like OSIsoft PI,

Schlumberger, Halliburton, or AVEVA.


• Knowledge of AI/ML pipelines, predictive maintenance, or real-time data analytics

in the Oil & Gas context.


• Familiarity with OpenTelemetry, App Insights, and other observability tools.


• Certification in Azure Solutions Architecture or equivalent.

Educational Qualification:


• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related

technical field.
