Role Description

This is a contract remote role for a Mold Flow Analyst Freelancer. The Mold Flow Analyst will be responsible for analyzing mold flow, performing simulations, interpreting results, and providing recommendations for optimized mold designs. The role involves collaborating with design and engineering teams, troubleshooting mold flow issues, and preparing technical reports to support decision-making processes.

Qualifications

  • Experience in mold flow analysis and simulation
  • Strong understanding of plastic injection molding processes
  • Proficiency in mold flow simulation software such as Moldflow or similar tools
  • Ability to interpret and analyze simulation results and provide technical recommendations
  • Experience in collaborating with design and engineering teams
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Relevant educational background in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Experience in the automotive industry is a plus
