With over 40 years of semiconductor process control experience, chipmakers around the globe rely on KLA to ensure that their fabs ramp next-generation devices to volume production quickly and cost-effectively. Enabling the movement towards advanced chip design, KLA's Global Products Group (GPG), which is responsible for creating all of KLA's metrology and inspection products, is looking for the best and the brightest research scientist, software engineers, application development engineers, and senior product technology process engineers. First to deliver the best imaging and classification data for every defect or point on any layer at any time. EBeam's mission encapsulates its role as the "eyes" of KLA's product line, providing timely information on defects and critical locations on the wafer at the highest spatial resolution possible. Customers use EBeam products alongside KLA patterned and bare wafer inspectors to quickly understand the nature of defects and other imperfections on product wafers and take action to correct the manufacturing process.

You will fit right in if you have a good understanding of the fundamentals of Computer Science, and software systems. Are you somebody who enjoys working on complex software, is very keen on understanding customer use cases, deep dive into code and find ways to automate tests and tasks? You will work with exceptional talent from across multiple global regions and functional groups such as systems/hardware engineering, SMEs, manufacturing.
You will have the opportunity to learn, and collaborate in developing test accelerators and tools to derive insights into the code, logs and other data sets. You should be somebody who feels strongly about writing efficient and high performing test infrastructure and automated test code and would be keen on learning and applying clean coding practices. Having a keen interest and ability to analyze problems involving large datasets, and an knowledge of relevant infrastructure would be critical in this role.
- Be responsible for the authoring of automated tests for current software code. Build performance, throughput, diagnostic analysis infrastructure.
- Work closely with software engineers, Applications engineers and other test engineers to develop accelerators for testing and data analysis.
- Analyze and leverage off the shelf toolsets to accelerate test and data analysis automation.
- Be willing to learn new design principles, technologies and business use-cases is essential.
Masters or Bachelors in computer sciences or related fields with at least 8 years of experience is required.
