FOTA Tester

Job Summary:

We are looking for an Automotive FOTA Tester to validate and ensure the reliability, security, and performance of over-the-air software/firmware updates for vehicles. You will design test cases, simulate update scenarios, and verify compliance with automotive standards while working closely with software developers and cybersecurity teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Functional, System testing on FOTA domain.

Execute test plans, record data, and analyze results to identify defects or areas for improvement.

Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot issues and recommend design improvements.

Document test procedures, findings, and reports for internal and regulatory purposes.

Report bugs in JIRA/ALM, track regression cycles, and collaborate with SW teams for fixes.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education: Bachelor's in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Automotive Software.

Experience and Technical skills:

3+ years in automotive software testing.

Understanding of FOTA, flashing sequence, EV systems, embedded software testing (preferred).

Knowledge of OBD, UDS protocol, and vehicle network architectures (CAN/LIN/Ethernet).

Familiarity with Automotive tools like CANoe, CANalyzer, or OEM-specific tools.
