Core responsibilities

  • Financial record keeping: Documenting all financial transactions and maintaining accurate records.
  • Financial statement preparation: Creating and presenting financial statements like balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Tax compliance: Preparing and filing tax returns and ensuring the organization complies with all tax laws.
  • Account reconciliation: Reconciling various financial accounts and resolving discrepancies.
  • Auditing and compliance: Assisting with internal and external audits and ensuring all financial activities comply with regulations.
  • Financial analysis: Analyzing financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement, and providing insights to management.
  • Budgeting and forecasting: Assisting in the creation of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Accounts management: Managing accounts payable and receivable and processing payroll.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time
