Your role

We are looking for a mid-level QA Lead to:

• Lead the QA team that is responsible for the quality of UBS Data Mesh
• Ensure the quality, security, reliability and compliance of our solutions by applying our QA procedures
• Negotiate and lead in multi-disciplinary teams to achieve excellence in product quality
• Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues, assist in hiring talented data engineers and contribute regularly to our engineering culture and internal communities
• Become an SME in the product and help other teams with using the product

Your team

You'll be working within the Group Chief Technology Organization, focusing on QA of the enterprise data mesh, closely interacting with data owners across the bank. You will be joining a team that are helping to scale, build and leverage data products in the firm. The team partners with different divisions and functions across the Bank to develop innovative digital solutions and expand our technical expertise into new areas. You will be joining a growing team and you will have the opportunity to further shape and establish its footprint in the organization.

Your expertise

• Test strategy and planning
• Test case review and prioritization
• Test metrics reporting and working with Technical, Program leadership for release management
• Conduct sessions for other teams to explain the new features in a release
• Provide support to other teams - explain the journeys, features, work-arounds (if applicable)
• Identify opportunities of improvements in the product and work with the key stakeholders to create user stories for the suggested improvements
• Team handling
• Peer stakeholders communication and management

QA/Technology Requirements

• QA team leadership – test strategy, guiding test case preparation, review test results
• Production issue handing - recreate/triaging – communication to stake holders
• Strong experience in performance testing principles
• Nice to have:

o Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform

o Data mesh principles and technologies

o Working knowledge of Linux/Ubuntu
