Job Summary:
The SAP Supply Chain manager is Store In-charge is responsible for managing inventory and store operations, utilizing SAP systems to ensure efficient supply chain management. The role includes inventory analysis, process optimization, and policy development, reporting directly to the CEO. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, monitor stock levels, and ensure compliance with company policies across the park business.
Key Responsibilities:
1. SAP Inventory Management:
- Manage and update stock levels, receipts, and issues within the SAP ERP system.
- Track stock aging and perform regular checks for obsolete or slow-moving items.
- Analyze inventory stock using ABC analysis to optimize stock management.
- Periodically update minimum and maximum stock levels based on consumption patterns.
2. Store Operations:
- Oversee daily store functions, including receiving, storing, issuing, and organizing materials.
- Ensure appropriate storage conditions for goods to minimize damage, particularly for F&B items.
- Conduct physical stock counts and reconcile with SAP records to maintain inventory accuracy.
3. Procurement Coordination:
- Collaborate with the procurement team to manage deliveries and stock inflow.
- Monitor purchase orders and maintain strong relationships with vendors and logistics providers.
- Manage reorder levels and lead times for critical inventory items and spares.
4. Inventory Control & Optimization:
- Monitor stock levels to avoid overstocking or shortages.
- Implement inventory control techniques such as FIFO (First-In-First-Out) and JIT (Just-In-Time).
- Define and adjust reorder levels and lead times for spares and inventory items.
- Record and track assets for new machinery or equipment in SAP/ERP systems.
5. Policy Development & Compliance:
- Develop, implement, and enforce store policies and ensure strict adherence across all operations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety protocols, and industry standards.
6. Project & Asset Management:
- Manage work-in-progress (WIP) valuation for new projects, ensuring accurate tracking in SAP/ERP.
- Ensure proper documentation for project completion and commissioning certificates in SAP/ERP.
- Oversee the capitalization and management of new machinery or equipment assets in SAP.
7. MIS Reporting & Analytics:
- Prepare and analyze monthly MIS reports to track stock movements, consumption trends, and stock valuation.
- Provide detailed reports and insights to support data-driven decision-making for supply chain optimization.
- Leverage strong analytical skills to identify trends and anomalies in inventory reports.
8. Troubleshooting:
- Address and resolve discrepancies related to inventory or SAP system issues.
- Work with IT and supply chain teams to troubleshoot and resolve operational challenges.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of experience in store management, with specific experience handling F&B inventory preferred.
- Expertise in SAP (MM Module) is essential.
- Strong analytical skills for generating and interpreting reports and MIS data.
- Knowledge of inventory control techniques like ABC analysis, FIFO, JIT, and reorder level planning.
- Experience in setting minimum and maximum stock levels, managing lead times, and asset tracking.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
