We are hiring a highly capable SCM Stockyard Incharge with 2- 4 years of experience in Stockyard Operations and supply chain, ideally in the steel, metals manufacturing or construction, sector. The role focuses on efficient stockyard management, inventory accuracy, dispatch coordination, and system-driven reporting—requiring solid hands-on expertise in SAP.
Key Responsibilities:Manage daily operations of the stockyard including receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials.
Ensure real-time inventory accuracy using SAP and reconcile stock discrepancies through physical verification.
Coordinate with SCM, logistics, and sales teams to ensure timely and accurate dispatches.
Monitor loading/unloading processes, space utilization, and material handling practices.
Analyze material movement and generate actionable MIS and reports to support decision-making.
Implement and follow safety protocols and compliance standards across yard operations.
Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize stockyard productivity and cost efficiency.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or related field; PG in SCM preferred.
Experience 2-4 years of experience in stockyard/warehouse operations, with a focus on dispatch, inventory control, and vendor coordination.
Strong working knowledge of SAP (MM/WM/SD modules preferred).
Proficient in MS Excel and data analysis tools.
Excellent coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Willing to be based at or regularly visit stockyard sites.
