About the Role

As an
Application Developer (Offshore Configurator – Rates)
, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and configuring applications that align with specific business processes and application requirements. Your day will involve collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to analyze project needs, create robust and efficient solutions, and ensure that applications deliver optimal performance and reliability.

You'll also contribute to testing, troubleshooting, and documentation, while continuously identifying areas for improvement and innovation in the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform configuration and development tasks independently and progress toward becoming a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
  • Actively participate in team discussions and contribute to solution brainstorming sessions.
  • Provide effective and scalable solutions to technical and functional challenges.
  • Assist in documenting application specifications, process flows, and user guides.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development and quality best practices.
  • Collaborate with project teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality, maintainable configurations.

Professional & Technical Skills

Must Have Skills:

  • Proficiency in
    Oracle Utilities Customer to Meter (C2M)
    SPL,
    Oracle CC&B Technical Architecture
    ,
    Customer Cloud Service (CCS)
    , or
    Meter Data Management (MDM)
    .
  • Experience in at least
    two full-cycle CIS implementation projects
    (CC&B/C2M/CCS/MDM).
  • Hands-on
    functional expertise
    in one or more of the following areas:
  • Billing
  • Rates Configuration
  • Payments
  • Credit & Collections
  • Strong ability to understand business requirements and design out-of-the-box solutions aligning with Oracle Utilities best practices.
  • Knowledge of
    Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF)
    fundamentals.

Good To Have Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of
    OUAF database structure
    and underlying technical components.
  • Familiarity with
    SQL
    ,
    configuration scripting
    , or
    Java-based customization
    .
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a
    collaborative and agile environment
    .
