Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor

Department: Operations / Logistics / Supply Chain

Reports To: Warehouse Manager / Operations Manager

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily warehousing activities. You will implement production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards to ensure efficient warehouse operations. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, experience in inventory management, and a commitment to safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Lead and manage a team of warehouse associates to meet productivity and quality goals.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits.
  • Monitor and maintain safety standards and housekeeping in the warehouse.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with other departments (e.g., procurement, logistics, customer service) to meet delivery and service standards.
  • Train, coach, and evaluate staff performance; initiate corrective action when necessary.
  • Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently as needed.
  • Maintain documentation for inventory, shipping, and receiving.
  • Monitor KPIs (e.g., order accuracy, on-time shipping, stock discrepancies) and report to management.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in logistics or related field is a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer applications (MS Office).
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Forklift certification is an advantage.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items and work in a physically demanding environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30, ₹35,000.00 per month
