**Position: Director of Product

About The Role
We are seeking a Director of Products to define, build, and scale the next generation of our carbon intelligence platform and farmer tools. You will lead the product strategy and vision, manage the product management team, and be responsible for driving significant new revenue lines. This role requires a strong focus on building operations-first businesses, ensuring product and business objectives are met for our farmers, field agents, and carbon buyers globally.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for Varaha's platform, aligning with business goals for growth and revenue.
  • Lead, mentor, and scale the team of Product Managers, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and customer obsession.
  • Spearhead the development and launch of new products and features, focusing on building sustainable revenue lines and market leadership.
  • Establish and drive product-led operational excellence, ensuring our products are designed for efficiency and scale in an operations-first business model.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Data Science, and Operations/Field teams to translate business and customer needs into technical requirements and deliver impactful features.

  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and inform product investment decisions.
    Qualifications
    Skills Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in product management, with a proven track record of successfully building and scaling products from conception to launch and growth.

  • Significant experience leading and managing product teams, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Demonstrated success in identifying, developing, and building new revenue lines for a technology-driven business.
  • Strong strategic and operational experience in building operations first businesses, especially in complex domains like climate tech, agri-tech, or supply chain.
  • Exceptional system-level thinking and ability to manage complex product ecosystems.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Experience with geospatial and remote sensing technology products.
  • Familiarity with carbon markets, sustainability, or agricultural technology domains.
  • Experience operating in a fast-paced, international startup environment.**
