Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated
Java Developer
to join our dynamic software engineering team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance applications using modern Java technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in object-oriented programming principles and hands-on experience with Java EE and microservices architecture. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust software solutions that meet business objectives and drive innovation within our technology stack. This position is critical to ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of our backend systems, supporting our mission to deliver cutting-edge software products to a global user base.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using
    Java
    ,
    J2EE
    , and
    microservices architecture
  • Implement and optimize RESTful APIs and backend services to support scalable application functionality
  • Apply core
    OOP concepts
    (encapsulation, inheritance, polymorphism, abstraction) to write clean, modular, and reusable code
  • Collaborate with product managers, architects, and frontend developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing to ensure high code quality and system reliability
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues in production environments
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum development cycles, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
  • Stay current with emerging trends in Java ecosystems, cloud-native development, and DevOps practices
  • Contribute to documentation of system architecture, APIs, and development processes

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of professional experience
    in software development with a strong focus on
    Java
    and
    J2EE
    platforms
  • In-depth understanding and practical application of
    Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts
  • Proven experience in building and deploying
    microservices-based applications
    using frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, or similar
  • Proficiency in RESTful API design, JSON, and service integration patterns
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM tools (e.g., Hibernate)
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Knowledge of message brokers (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ) and distributed systems
  • Certification in Java or cloud technologies (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional, AWS Certified Developer)
