Job Summary:

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented
Social Media Associate
to support the development and execution of our social media strategies. The ideal candidate is passionate about digital storytelling, understands current social media trends, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in growing our online presence, engaging with our audience, and reinforcing our brand voice across platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the creation, scheduling, and publishing of content across all major social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.)
  • Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to develop engaging multimedia content (images, videos, reels, stories, etc.)
  • Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and mentions; respond and engage with the community in a timely and professional manner
  • Track and report on social media metrics, campaign performance, and audience insights using tools like Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, or Sprout Social
  • Stay up-to-date with social media trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to recommend improvements
  • Assist in planning and executing influencer collaborations or partnership campaigns
  • Support paid social advertising campaigns with creative input and performance monitoring
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and aesthetic across all platforms

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • 1–2 years of experience managing social media accounts (personal projects, internships, or freelance work may be considered)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut)
  • Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Later)
  • Basic understanding of analytics tools (e.g., Meta Insights, Google Analytics)
  • Creative mindset with a keen eye for aesthetics, trends, and storytelling
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with video editing or short-form content creation (e.g., Reels, TikToks)
  • Knowledge of SEO and how it relates to social content
  • Experience with influencer or brand collaboration management
