Mandatory Skills:

  • Strong process knowledge of different commodities like Sheetmetal, Castings, Plastics, Forging, Machining, Electromechanical, etc. ( Any 2 is mandatory)
  • Similar manufacturing industry background is mandatory
  • Teardown and BOM Generation, perform Benchmarking reports.
  • Good knowledge of GDT, materials, and assembly processes.
  • Experience on Should costing of different commodities and assemblies
  • Post process knowledge like painting, Plating, Heat treatment, shot blasting, Anodizing and other surface coatings.
  • Precision Machining cycle time calculation.
  • Process optimization and automation knowledge
  • Multi commodity costing expertise like Stamping & sheet metal, Forgings and Chemicals.
  • Knowledge of detailed process cycle-time calculation for different type of processes
  • Fact pack preparation and Negotiation expertise.
  • Experience on MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel with basic macros)
  • Costing experience on softwares like TcPCM, aPriori, Costimator, etc. will be an added advantage
  • Daily interaction with client on project updates and reviews.
  • Should have good written & oral communication skills.
  • VAVE experience will be an added advantage
  • Experience in consumer products industry
