About the Role

We are looking for a Semi Qualified Chartered Accountant with 3–4 years of experience in taxation to join one of our esteemed clients (Chartered Accountant Firm) in Kolkata. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, hands-on experience in direct and indirect taxes, and the ability to manage compliance and advisory assignments independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and filing of income tax returns, GST returns, and TDS returns.
  • Assistance in tax audits, statutory audits, and assessments.
  • Support in tax planning and advisory for clients.
  • Ensuring timely compliance with direct and indirect tax laws.
  • Liaising with tax authorities and handling notices, appeals, and assessments.
  • Assisting senior management in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Staying updated with changes in taxation laws and regulations.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Semi Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA – Inter cleared).
  • 3–4 years of hands-on experience in taxation (direct & indirect).
  • Good working knowledge of Income Tax, GST, TDS, and related laws.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, accounting software, and tax portals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
