Role Overview

As a Fullstack Application Automation Engineer, you'll join the Stability & Resilience (STA) Division, specifically the Open Data domain — powering global IT referentials, data quality, and production resilience for BNP Paribas worldwide.

This role offers an opportunity to work on end-to-end enterprise application development, automation, and monitoring while collaborating with global teams in Paris and across BNP Paribas Group.

Key Responsibilities

Design & develop enterprise applications (Java/Spring + Angular stack).

Build & enhance APIs (REST, Swagger, APIM, Apigee).

Manage CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins).

Implement automation & validation testing (Selenium, TNR).

Handle production deliveries, deployments, & anomaly management.

Collaborate on ITSM processes (Incidents, Requests, Changes).

Monitor and maintain application stability using Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana.

Work closely with Paris/global teams for knowledge transfer & continuous improvements.

Technical Skills

Must Have:

  • Java 8+, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Springfox, SpringDoc
  • Angular 7+ with PrimeNG
  • Selenium, IntelliJ
  • Oracle & PostgreSQL (queries & scripts)
  • CI/CD (GitLab CI, Jenkins)
  • Containers: Kubernetes / OpenShift
  • Cloud platforms (IBM Cloud preferred)
  • Monitoring tools: Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana
  • Scripting: Python / Bash
  • ITIL / ITSM (ServiceNow)
  • Agile methodologies (Jira, Confluence)

Good to Have:

High Availability / Disaster Recovery setup knowledge

Experience in resilience engineering & production backup
