Prasavasuraksha Therapist

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Prasavasuraksha Therapist to provide postnatal Ayurvedic care to new mothers at home. The therapist will perform traditional Kerala post-delivery treatments, massage, belly binding, and provide overall maternal support based on Ayurveda.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide postnatal Ayurvedic care at client homes
• Perform post-delivery massage (prasava raksha abhyangam)
• Conduct udwartanam, steam, herbal kizhi, and dhara as required
• Belly binding (pehlikhil / tummy tightening)
• Assist mother with recovery techniques & relaxation methods
• Prepare required oils/decoctions if provided by clinic
• Maintain hygiene and therapeutic standards
• Educate mother on diet & basic postnatal routines (if trained)
• Report treatment details to the clinic after each session
• Travel to clients across districts when needed

Skills & Requirements

• Trained in Ayurvedic postnatal care / prasava raksha
• Good knowledge of postnatal recovery practices
• Must maintain respect, privacy, and professionalism
• Physically fit and able to perform long massage sessions
• Willing to travel (Travel allowance will be provided)
• Good communication skills
• Calm, patient, and mother-friendly attitude

Salary / Payment Structure

• Per Visit: (based on experience & therapy type)
• Travel Allowance: Provided
• Weekly Payments
• Additional pay for long-duration therapies
