Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Wood Keeper located in Mumbai. The Wood Keeper will be responsible for overseeing the storage, maintenance, and organization of wooden materials within the company's premises. Daily tasks include managing inventory, ensuring the quality and safety of wood, coordinating with suppliers, and maintaining accurate records of stock levels. The Wood Keeper will also ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and assist in the timely distribution of materials as needed.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of wood types, storage techniques, and inventory management
  • Experience in maintaining quality and safety standards for wood
  • Record-keeping and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage time
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to wood storage and handling is a plus
  • Experience in a similar role is beneficial
  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in relevant fields is advantageous
