Job Title: Automation Test Engineer in Capital Market Domain

Location:Pune

Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days WFO - Tues, Wed, Thurs)

Shift Time: 12:30PM - 9:30PM IST

Position Title: Senior QA Analyst for Compliance and Legal Technology

Position:
Jefferies is seeking for Senior QA Analyst for Compliance related applications. Candidate should be a leader having hands on experience in both QA functional and automated testing.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Drive QA activities in North Americas, EMEA and offshore.
• Planning, Developing and Executing tests against Compliance systems which consist of vendor products and in house implementations across a wide range of technologies.
• Work closely with Business (Test case reviews) and IT teams (deployments/fixes).
• Ensure QA process to be followed for release cycle, involved in regular compliance/Audit review process.
• Ensure all regression and new functionality is tested each release cycle.
• Identify and fill gaps in existing QA regression test suite and process.
• Provide regular status to business and IT stakeholders.
• Preparation of test plan / strategy document for various types of testing.
• Provide solution for application automation.
• Create test cases and build automation scripts.
• Execute, document test cases, results, and log defects for failed cases.
• Retest the defect fixes and track it to closure.

Desired Experience/ Skills:
• Experience (7+ years) in the field of IT and Testing in the BFSI (Banking and Financial Industry) domain.
• Experience with vendor applications in the Compliance space and advantage.
• Experience and in-depth understanding of the Software Testing principles.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Understanding the user requirements and application capabilities by reading BRD, FSD and application user manuals.
• Good knowledge of Unix, Windows and SQL.
• Python, Snowflake and cloud related technology familiarity a bonus.
• Defect Management – Articulation of defects in detailed manner, assigning defects to technical teams, capturing target fix dates and resolution comments from IT.
• Co-ordinate with Project/ Program managers with clear communications.
• Ability to drive the project Initiatives on your own. Plan and execute activities based on project milestones and independently manage communications.
• Adept at providing Testing, Technical and Domain expertise by guidance to team.
• Good communication, presentation skills and problem-solving skills.
