Position Overview
The Primary Teacher (PRT) for Grades 4–5 is responsible for delivering subject-specific and integrated learning as per CBSE guidelines. The teacher ensures strong conceptual understanding in upper primary classes and fosters academic, social, and emotional growth in students.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach subjects such as English, Mathematics, EVS/Science, Social Science, or any assigned subject as per school requirements.
• Prepare and execute structured lesson plans aligned with CBSE curriculum and school learning objectives.
• Use activity-based, experiential, and inquiry-based teaching strategies to enhance conceptual understanding.
• Design age-appropriate worksheets, assessments, and project work.
• Conduct formative and summative assessments and maintain detailed student records.
• Support students in strengthening reading comprehension, writing skills, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Establish and maintain an organized, safe, and student-friendly classroom environment.
• Manage classroom discipline effectively while promoting respect, teamwork, and responsibility.
• Address the diverse learning needs of students and ensure equal participation.
• Provide academic support, remedial help, and enrichment activities for students with varied learning levels.
• Encourage holistic development through co-curricular activities, creative projects, and collaborative learning opportunities.
• Integrate life skills, value education, and 21st-century skills—critical thinking, communication, and digital literacy.
• Maintain regular communication with parents through PTMs, diaries, and digital platforms.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers for lesson planning, events, assessments, and school initiatives.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, workshops, and curriculum planning activities.
• Prepare report cards, maintain attendance, and ensure proper documentation of student progress.
• Assist in examination duties, school events, assemblies, competitions, and field trips.
• Adhere to school policies, timelines, and CBSE norms.
• Strong subject knowledge appropriate for primary level.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to create engaging, child-friendly teaching materials.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with young learners.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office, digital teaching tools).
• Ability to work collaboratively with the school team.

Qualifications
B.Ed / D.El.Ed as per CBSE norms.

Experience Teaching Primary Classes In a CBSE School.
Fluency in English.

Work Experience
2 plus years of experience teaching Grades 4–5 in a CBSE school
