About Us

Aegivionx is a women's health innovation company developing non-invasive, high-impact medical and aerospace solutions. We are building a next-generation inflight urination device for female fighter pilots, designed with human-centric principles, advanced ergonomics, and usability for extreme conditions.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Product Designer (Human-Centric Design) to drive the design, development, and prototyping of the inflight urination device. The ideal candidate should have expertise in anthropometric design, ergonomics, and CAD modeling with the ability to integrate user requirements into innovative and functional product solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the conceptualization, CAD modeling, and detailed design using SolidWorks and related design software.
  • Apply anthropometric measurements, ergonomic principles, and human factors engineering to ensure fit, comfort, and usability across diverse pilot body types.
  • Run simulations (FEA, CFD, suction/flow dynamics, structural validation) to test performance in high-altitude/inflight environments.
  • Collaborate with biomedical engineers, aerospace specialists, and clinicians to incorporate real-world user feedback into iterative designs.
  • Develop prototypes and technical documentation for testing, validation, and regulatory submission.
  • Ensure designs meet manufacturability, safety, and aerospace/medical device compliance standards.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or Human Factors Engineering.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks, CATIA, or equivalent CAD tools, with strong knowledge of simulation tools.
  • Strong grounding in ergonomics, anthropometry, and usability design.
  • Prior experience in medical devices, aerospace systems, or wearable product design preferred.
  • Familiarity with rapid prototyping, DFM principles, and usability testing.
  • Strong creativity, problem-solving, and cross-disciplinary collaboration skills.
