We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Research Analyst – Food & Allied Sectors to join our Investment Banking team. The role involves conducting in-depth research and analysis of companies, sectors, and trends within the Food and Allied industries, with an India-specific focus. The ideal candidate will prepare high-quality sectoral insights, support valuation exercises, contribute to deal origination, and assist in the preparation of pitchbooks and information memoranda. This individual will work closely with senior management and deal teams on live mandates, providing research-backed inputs for ongoing and prospective transactions

Responsibilities :

· Sectoral & Company Research

· Conduct detailed research on the Food and Allied sectors (e.g., packaged foods, Agri-processing, dairy, beverages, and related segments).

· Track listed and unlisted companies, industry trends, policy developments, and market movements (India focus).

· Prepare sectoral reports, company profiles, and competitive benchmarking analyses.

· Valuation & Financial Analysis

· Build and maintain financial models; perform DCF, Comparable Companies, and Transaction Multiples analyses to support valuations.

· Contribute to the preparation of information memoranda, teasers, pitchbooks, and transaction support materials.

· Assist in preparing research-backed insights for deal origination and execution.

· Deal & Transaction Support

· Work closely with deal teams and senior management on live mandates across fund-raising, M&A, and strategic advisory transactions.

· Conduct industry mapping, identify potential targets/investors, and support due diligence efforts.

· Participate in client discussions and contribute analytical insights where relevant.

· Tracking & Monitoring

· Maintain ongoing coverage of key companies, transactions, and emerging opportunities in the sector.

· Monitor M&A activity, policy shifts, and market dynamics impacting the Food & Allied industries.

· Summarize findings into actionable insights and recommendations for internal and client use.

· Create specific research reports for wider circulation

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹232, ₹822,674.13 per year
