Pre-Sales Engineer

Yakkaservices is looking for a skilled Pre-Sales Estimation Engineer with 4-5 years of experience to join our team in Thanjavur. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems and preparing cost estimates, BOQs, and technical proposals. This includes 
CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, Public Address, BMS, and Structured Cabling
 systems.

Role & responsibilities

• Design ELV systems based on project requirements and industry standards.
• Prepare 
  accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and technical proposals
   for ELV projects.
• Analyze 
  tender documents, drawings, and project specifications
   to determine requirements.
• Source and compare vendor pricing for ELV equipment and materials.
• Conduct 
  cost analysis and risk assessments
   for project feasibility.
• Ensure compliance with 
  NFPA, Indian Standards, and project requirements
  .
• Collaborate with the sales and project teams to develop proposals.
• Assist in 
  value engineering
   to optimize costs while maintaining quality.
• Maintain design and estimation records for future reference.

Preferred candidate profile

Education

• Bachelors Degree/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering
• Diploma/Degree in 
  Electrical, Electronics, or a related field
  .
• 5-10 years
   of experience in 
  ELV design and estimation
  .
• Strong knowledge of 
  CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, BMS, and Structured Cabling
  .
• Proficiency in 
  AutoCAD, Excel, and estimation software
  .
• Ability to interpret 
  technical drawings, specifications, and BOQs
  .
• Strong 
  analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  .
