Curated Living Solutions is a high-growth hospitality + lifestyle + real-estate venture, building co-living, student housing and hybrid hospitality spaces under its brands. We operate multiple properties, engage full-time employees as well as contract/operational staff, partner with vendors, and are scaling rapidly across locations. We now seek an experienced Legal Counsel who can partner with the leadership team to build a strong legal/contract-risk foundation, enable growth while keeping compliance and governance tight, and support the culture of growth, innovation and operational excellence.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a seasoned legal professional (10+ years) who has worked in hospitality, real estate, or fast-growing start-up/scale-up environments, ideally with exposure to mixed workforce models (employees + contractors), vendor management, multi-site operations, and commercial transactions. You will lead the internal legal function, providing proactive guidance, drafting/negotiating contracts, ensuring regulatory compliance across states, enabling new business launches (properties/projects), and supporting leadership in strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

· Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, vendor/service agreements, property leases, procurement and outsourcing agreements.

· Support project/property launches with legal input: land/lease/title matters, local state compliance and permitting, construction contracts, hospitality operations contracts.

· Manage full-time employment contracts, contractor services agreements, agency/vendor manpower contracts, ensuring alignment with workforce strategy and risk mitigation.

· Ensure compliance with applicable laws: labour & employment law, Shops & Establishments, statutory registrations, real-estate regulations (as applicable), hospitality operations statutes, vendor compliance and licensing.

· Provide legal counsel to business leaders and functional heads on risk, governance, regulatory changes, litigation exposure, and contract strategy.

· Establish and maintain standard legal templates, policies, SOPs for contracting and vendor/agency engagement; train functional teams on key legal/risk aspects.

· Liaise with external counsel as needed, manage panel law-firms, oversee legal costs and vendor relationships.

· Monitor and advise on intellectual property, brand/marketing legal issues, data protection/privacy (if applicable), dispute resolution, and claims management.

· Work closely with finance, procurement, real estate, and operations teams to align legal strategy with commercial goals, ensuring speed and pragmatism, keeping business enablement in mind.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

· Minimum 
10 years' experience

as a legal counsel / in-house lawyer / senior commercial legal role, with at least some exposure in hospitality, real estate, operations, start-ups or scale-ups.

· Demonstrable experience in contract negotiation, vendor services, procurement operations, manpower/agency contracts, and cross-functional stakeholder advising.

· Strong commercial orientation along with solid legal fundamentals, comfortable balancing risk-management with business enablement.

· Excellent drafting, negotiation, communication and influencing skills.

· Proven ability to work in multi-location, dynamic operations/growth environment, managing multiple priorities and timelines.

· Qualified lawyer (LLB) + preferably LLM / PG in Commercial Law / Corporate Law.

· Strong ethics, integrity, sense of ownership, ability to partner with senior leadership, and build frameworks from scratch.
