Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior SAP ECC Functional Consultant to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will possess 7-10 years of in- depth experience in implementing, configuring, and supporting various SAP ECC modules. This role requires a strong understanding of business processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective SAP solutions. The Senior Functional Consultant will play a critical role in project implementations, system enhancements, and providing ongoing support to optimize our SAP landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

• Module Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert in one or more core SAP ECC modules (e.g., FI, CO, SD, MM, PP, PS, VIM, OT & HR), SAC, FM, REFX.

Strong cross-functional integration knowledge is highly desirable.

• Business Requirement Gathering: Lead and participate in workshops and meetings to gather, analyze, and document complex business requirements from various stakeholders.
• Solution Design & Configuration: Design, configure, and implement robust SAP solutions that align with business needs and best practices. This includes customizing SAP functionalities, defining master data structures, and configuring transaction processes.

Functional Specifications:

Create detailed functional specifications (FSPs) for custom developments (RICEF objects - Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms) and work closely with technical teams (ABAP developers) to ensure accurate development.

Testing:

Develop and execute comprehensive test plans (unit testing, integration testing, UAT support) to ensure the quality and integrity of SAP solutions. Document test results and manage defect resolution. Business & process impact analysis.

Data Migration:

Participate in data migration activities, including data mapping, cleansing, loading strategies & cutover strategies.

Training & Documentation:

Develop and deliver user training, create user manuals, process documentation, and other relevant support materials.

Post-Go-Live Support:

Provide expert-level post-go-live support, troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.

Enhancements & Optimization:

Identify opportunities for process improvements and system optimizations within the SAP ECC environment. Propose and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Project Management Support:

Contribute to project planning, scheduling, risk assessment, and status reporting as required. May lead small / Medium projects or workstreams.

Stakeholder Management:

Effectively communicate with business users, IT teams, and external vendors. Build strong relationships and manage expectations.

Mentorship (Optional but desirable):

Mentor junior team members and share knowledge to foster skill development within the team.

Stay Updated:

Keep abreast of the latest SAP functionalities, industry best practices, and emerging technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Financial Master's degree is a plus. 7-10 years of progressive experience as SAP Functional Consultant, with a strong focus on SAP ECC implementations, rollouts, upgrades, and support projects.

Proven expertise in configuring and implementing at least two core SAP ECC modules (e.g., FI/CO, SD/MM, PP/QM/PM). Deep understanding of cross-module integration points. Solid understanding of standard business processes related to the specialized SAP modules. Experience with full lifecycle SAP implementations from blueprinting to go-live and post-implementation support.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and propose effective solutions.

Excellent communication (written and verbal), presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization. Proficiency in creating functional specifications, test scripts, and end-user documentation. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team- oriented environment. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• SAP Certification in one or more relevant ECC modules.
• Experience with ABAP debugging is a MUST.
• Knowledge of project management and change management.
• Experience in Cement/Building Material company environment is a plus.
• Familiarity with integration technologies (e.g., EDI, PI/PO).
• Prior experience in a consulting firm or a large enterprise IT environment.

Work Time:

9:30 AM till 6:30 PM Monday to Friday 9:30 AM till 2:30 PM Saturday
