JOB Description

Swasth Aahar Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Boiler Operator to manage and operate briquette-fired boilers at our manufacturing plant. The role is critical in ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant boiler operations, supporting uninterrupted production and utility functions.

Key Responsibilities & Skills:

· Operate and monitor briquette-fired boilers and associated utility equipment to ensure continuous, safe, and efficient steam generation.

· Carry out routine preventive and corrective maintenance on boilers, burners, fuel feeding systems, water treatment units, and other mechanical components.

· Monitor and regulate boiler water, chemical dosing, and fuel supply levels to maintain optimal performance and comply with operational standards.

· Inspect and test boiler safety devices, valves, gauges, and pressure controls to ensure compliance with statutory and company safety requirements.

· Conduct boiler water testing, treatment, and blowdown procedures as per prescribed norms to prevent scaling, corrosion, and hazards.

· Perform regular safety and operational checks, including emergency shut-offs, fire alarms, and interlocks.

· Adjust and fine-tune combustion settings, temperature, and pressure controls for maximum efficiency and fuel economy.

· Maintain accurate logs and records of daily operations, fuel consumption, water treatment, maintenance activities, and statutory checks.

· Respond promptly to breakdowns or emergency situations to minimize production downtime.

· Adhere strictly to Indian Boiler Regulations (IBR), Factory Act provisions, and company EHS standards.

Key Skills & Attributes:

· Strong knowledge of boiler operations, utilities, and IBR safety standards.

· Skilled in briquette-fired boiler handling, water testing, and combustion control.

· Proficient in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of boiler systems.

· Ability to maintain accurate operation logs and statutory records.

· Safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and quick to respond to emergencies.

· Effective team player with coordination skills across utilities, maintenance, and production.

. Minimum 3–4 years of hands-on experience in operating briquette-fired boilers in a manufacturing/industrial environment

Education (including any certifications)

10th Pass / ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with valid 1st Class Boiler Attendant Certificate of Competency (as per Indian Boiler Regulations)
