Role Overview
The Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations of the Nutriwala Store, maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting business decisions through timely reporting and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting & Bookkeeping
Maintain day-to-day accounts in Tally / Zoho Books / any accounting software.
Record all sales, purchases, expenses, and payments accurately.
Handle petty cash and bank reconciliation on a daily/weekly basis.
2. Billing & Invoicing
Prepare and verify customer invoices and vendor bills.
Ensure accurate GST calculations and entries.
Manage sales reports and coordinate with the store team for daily billing summaries.
3. Inventory & Cost Management
Coordinate with store team for stock reconciliation and valuation.
Monitor purchase costs, wastage, and margins to control leakages.
4. Reporting
Prepare monthly Profit & Loss statements and cash flow summaries.
Support management in budgeting and financial planning.
5. Coordination
Liaise with vendors, auditors, and internal teams for timely settlements.
Support management in implementing new financial systems or processes.
