Job Summary :


Natobotics is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Lead Java Microservices Engineer with 68 years of experience to drive the development of cutting-edge solutions. This role requires expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and AWS Cloud. The Lead Engineer will be responsible for the full lifecycle development of scalable solutions, from designing high-level architecture to implementing robust APIs, while mentoring junior developers and ensuring technical excellence.


Key Responsibilities :


Architecture and Design :

- Lead the creation of detailed High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents and comprehensive design diagrams for new features and microservices.

- Drive the design and implementation of highly scalable APIs and Microservices using Core Java and the Spring Boot framework.

- Ensure solutions are scalable, resilient, and performant, adhering to modern microservices best practices.


Development and Quality Assurance :

- Develop and implement scalable solutions using a test-driven development (TDD) approach, ensuring high code quality and test coverage.

- Apply deep technical knowledge of persistence layers, working with Oracle and/or PostgreSQL databases.

- Collaborate effectively across development, QA, and DevOps teams, utilizing code repositories and bug tracking tools (e.g., Git, Jira).


Cloud and DevOps Integration :

- Design and deploy microservices effectively within the AWS Cloud environment, utilizing relevant cloud services for computing, storage, and networking.

- Contribute to the automation and pipeline processes (CI/CD) to ensure rapid, reliable, and frequent software delivery.


Qualifications :

- Experience : 68 years of hands-on professional software development experience.

- Core Java : Deep expertise and strong development experience in Core Java and the Spring Boot framework (Must-Have Skill).

- Microservices : Mandatory strong experience in designing, building, and deploying Microservices architectures and managing API Management platforms.

- Cloud & Database : Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services and professional experience with Oracle and/or PostgreSQL databases.


Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

- Hands-on experience with GitLab or similar CI/CD tools.

- Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible.

- Experience with container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes.

- Experience with cloud-native platforms like Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF).
