Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer to implement, maintain, and support our growing network infrastructure. The candidate will be part of a dynamic team responsible for maintaining the integrity of high-availability network and security infrastructure to deliver mission-critical services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
* Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure availability and reliability
* Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including patches, hotfixes, and security configurations
* Implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company's security team
* Support LAN, WAN, VPN, and SD-WAN environments
* Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to improve network infrastructure
* Manage IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, and other network services
* Maintain documentation of network configurations, processes, and service records
* Provide Level 2/3 support and resolve escalated issues
* Participate in on-call rotation and disaster recovery planning/testing

Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
* Proven hands-on network engineering experience
* In-depth understanding of networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, etc.)
* Experience with, VDI, Citrix Virtual Desktop Cisco or equivalent network devices
* Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark, Nagios)
* Solid understanding of OSI or TCP/IP model
* Hands-on experience with firewalls, VPNs, an security systems
* Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), CCNP, or equivalent certifications

Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with cloud networking (Azure/AWS)
* Knowledge of VoIP, QoS, and wireless technologies
* Familiarity with scripting or automation tools (Python, Ansible, etc.)

Soft Skills:

•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and documentation abilities
* Ability to work independently and in a team environment
* High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
