AI-Focused Software Engineer (Flutter, Django, No-Code Integration)

About SellMyRig: SellMyRig is a rapidly growing fintech marketplace platform focused on streamlining transactions for commercial equipment buyers, sellers, and finance providers. Our product simplifies complex financial workflows into intuitive, user-friendly experiences on both iOS and Android.

Role Overview: We're looking for a sharp, ambitious AI-focused Software Engineer with deep coding experience who is passionate about leveraging AI and low-code/no-code technologies to accelerate our product iterations. You'll play a critical role in transforming our existing GitHub repository into a non-technical-friendly, low-code/no-code ecosystem for fast, iterative shipping of product updates.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Own the integration of AI-powered low-code/no-code tools with our existing Flutter (iOS & Android) frontend and Django backend infrastructure.
  • Convert detailed product requirements (PRDs) and Figma UI/UX designs into fully functional product iterations rapidly.
  • Develop and optimize backend workflows using AI tools to auto-generate robust, production-ready code.
  • Collaborate closely with design, product, and management teams to quickly deploy new user-centric features.
  • Continuously improve app architecture to enhance user optionality, clarity, and ease of use.

Technical Requirements:

  • Minimum 3+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong proficiency with Flutter for cross-platform (iOS & Android) development.
  • Extensive experience with Django backend and AWS cloud services.
  • Deep familiarity with GitHub, version control, and CI/CD workflows.
  • Proven expertise in integrating AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT APIs, auto-code generation) with codebases.
  • Hands-on experience with no-code/low-code platforms (FlutterFlow, Bubble, Appsmith, Retool, etc.).

Ideal Candidate:

  • Graduated from a top engineering institution (e.g., IITs or top 5 engineering colleges in India).
  • Thrives in fast-paced startup environments; has previously scaled a product from early stage (0 to 1).
  • Comfortable iterating rapidly based on user feedback and strategic pivots.
  • Driven by results, passionate about ownership, and looking for accelerated career growth.
  • Startup-minded: we value impact and execution over traditional corporate processes.

Work Environment & Expectations:

  • Full-time role aligned with American working hours (PST).

  • Must be ready to begin within two weeks; expect an intensive, focused onboarding working session.
