Job Description:
nference is seeking a highly skilled Product Manager or Senior Product Manager to focus on Clinical Software Applications.  The Product Manager or Senior Product Manager of Clinical Software Applications will have extensive experience managing the successful development of end-user software products from concept to launch, with a strong focus on user interface. Ideal candidates will also have experience working within the data security and privacy standards for healthcare software, as demonstrated through experience managing software for electronic health records. This is a high-visibility position within Nference and will offer opportunities for professional growth and development. Successful candidates will work closely with external partners to deploy the software solutions in health systems.
This cross-functional position requires close collaboration with Senior leadership, commercial teams, software engineers, and clinicians to develop and launch market-ready software solutions that integrate with electronic health records to streamline patient care. The Product Manager or Senior Product Manager will report to the Sr. Director of Product for Clinical Applications.  To be successful in this role, you must be a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment – this will require wearing many hats, the ability to change direction quickly, and an eagerness to learn new technologies as needed.
This position will be on-site in the Bangalore office of nference. Occasional travels as needed - within and outside India.
Responsibilities:
  • Establish and adhere to project timelines and deadlines, track and report progress towards go-to-market goals, and prioritize workflows to produce best-in-class solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as research, marketing, commercial, and sales teams, to accurately address end-user needs.
  • Articulate and align internal stakeholders to execute a vision, and build product roadmaps and feature requirements for healthcare software that supports clinical decision-making.
  • Leverage end-to-end software product management experience to successfully deploy newly developed software solutions that smoothly interface with electronic medical record systems.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders – engineers, commercial teams, UI/UX designers, and clinicians – to develop, test, troubleshoot, and document these requirements.
  • Prioritize product features and capabilities with input and direction from the commercial team based on customer needs, market conditions, and competitive analyses.

Required Qualifications:
  • 1-4+ years of experience in user interface/end-user software product management or a similar field; 5 years of relevant experience for Senior Product Manager
  • Experience within healthcare software (ideally cloud-delivered SaaS), interfacing with medical records, and knowledge of regulatory requirements (HIPAA, HITRUST, etc.).
  • Experience articulating your vision across the organization and inspiring others to execute.
  • Experience setting, driving, and achieving product timelines from concept to launch, including building product roadmaps and feature requirements for healthcare software that supports clinical decision-making. 
  • Capable of building product requirements in collaboration with engineering, scientific, and clinical teams, and seeing through execution, including roadmap, sprints, test, validate, and release (including feature briefs, presentations, technical and feature documentation, release notes, user manuals, etc.)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with solid attention to detail.
  • Impeccable communication (oral, written, and presentation) skills; passion for creativity
  • Experience working in a matrixed team structure (engineering, scientific, clinical, commercial), influencing across product areas/groups, and developing/delivering product roadmaps.


Preferred Experience
  • Preferred experience with Clinical Applications systems, SaMD (Software as a Medical Device), FDA regulatory processes, QMS design control, etc.
  • Healthcare software (engineering or product) background, including regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Experience addressing and adhering to information security standards regulations and requirements, such as HIPAA, covered entities, and EHR integration, in end-user software solutions
