We will partner with you to cofound a hiring agency, with the below value add -

We follow a pretty straightforward framework when we look at hiring for any role/seniority - if you align, we are the right co-founders for you -

• Purpose (sharing the same north star, in our case being in service of entrepreneurs looking to build impact-centric startups),

• Collaborate with build3 to establish a specialised finance, accounting, and compliance agency, focused on serving the startup ecosystem. Engage with both early-stage and mature startups, offering a range of services from financial compliance, accounting etc. This mix of services, involving both cash and equity arrangements, aims to ensure the financial robustness and sustainability of the agency.

• Develop your agency from the ground up, or, if you already run an established agency, explore synergies with build3. Together, we can craft and execute forward-thinking strategies and action plans for continuous growth and development.

• Lead and oversee the provision of top-notch accounting and compliance services to startups. Work closely with diverse teams to ensure that startups receive comprehensive support in financial management and regulatory compliance, right from their inception through various stages of growth. This involves guiding startups through complex financial landscapes and helping them establish strong financial foundations for their innovative products and services.
  
  

What you need to bring to the table

• Financial Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous records of all financial transactions in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards.
• Bookkeeping: Keep up-to-date books that reflect the financial activities of the startup, ensuring that entries are accurate and comply with the legal standards.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare periodic financial statements like balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements to help startups understand their financial position.
• Company Secretarial Services: Handle secretarial duties like maintaining statutory registers, filing annual returns, and keeping minutes of board meetings as required by the Companies Act, 2013.
• Tax Preparation and Filing: Calculate and file various tax returns such as GST, TDS, and corporate tax in compliance with the Income Tax Act, and other relevant regulations.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements for startups, including RBI compliance for foreign transactions if applicable.
• Audit Assistance: Facilitate audits by providing necessary documents and explanations to auditors, whether internal, external, or statutory.
• Accounts Receivable/Payable Management: Keep track of the money flowing in and out to ensure that invoices are paid and collected in a timely manner.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist startups in creating budgets and financial forecasts that help in strategic planning and fundraising.
• Advisory Services: Provide financial, tax, and regulatory advisory services to help startups navigate the complexities of financial management in the startup ecosystem.
• Investor Reporting: Create reports for current or potential investors that detail financial performance and future projections.
• Proven track record in financial management within the startup sector.
• Deep understanding of product development methodologies, agile practices, and user-centred design.
• Ability to communicate complex financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
• Strong foundation in client relationship management, with the capacity to manage multiple projects and clients concurrently.
