The Block Coordinator will oversee, coordinate, and manage all programmatic activities within a specific block. They will ensure that project goals are met, stakeholders are engaged, field teams are supported and monitored, and reporting and documentation are up to required standards. They act as a bridge between the field and higher-level management, ensuring efficiency, quality, and accountability in project implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Implementation & Planning
- Develop block-level work plans aligning with the overall project objectives.
- Ensure timely rollout of project activities (training, awareness campaigns, health camps, etc.).
- Oversee and support field teams (community workers, volunteers) to carry out tasks.
- Stakeholder Liaison & Coordination
- Coordinate with local government departments (health, education, ICDS, agriculture, etc.) for convergence of schemes and support.
- Engage with community leaders, Panchayats, Self-Help Groups (SHGs), Gram Sabhas etc., to mobilize community participation.
- Community Mobilization & Capacity Building
- Organize and facilitate training/workshops for community members, frontline workers, volunteers.
- Support local capacity building (skills and awareness) relevant to the project's thematic area (health, livelihoods, rights, etc.).
- Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting
- Monitor progress of field activities, ensure they meet quality standards.
- Collect, collate, and analyze data; maintain MIS or other tracking tools.
- Prepare regular reports (weekly/monthly/quarterly) on outputs, outcomes, challenges.
- Field Visits & Quality Assurance
- Regular site visits to villages/communities to ensure implementation fidelity.
- Identify issues/gaps, provide feedback, and support corrective action.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹9, ₹20,122.40 per month
