Area:

  • Application Development & Deployment: Creating, deploying, and configuring applications using Python and REST API design/implementation in Flask.
  • DevOps & Automation: Automated provisioning of Dev/Test/Staging and Production environments using Azure DevOps CI/CD pipeline.
  • Version Control & Tools: Proficient in GIT, SVN (branching, tagging, push), Pycharm, and Visual Studio Code.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Writing unit tests, integration tests, and REST API testing using Postman, SOAP UI.
  • Architecture & Planning: Preparing detailed build/test plans and proposing architectural solutions for application requirements.
  • Cloud Migration: Migrating on-premises workloads to Microsoft Azure, including security and compliance considerations.
  • Infrastructure Management: Managing Docker environments, load balancers, Kubernetes clusters, and platform services such as Elasticsearch, Azure SQL Server, MySQL, CosmoDB, and MongoDB.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and deploy on-premise applications to Azure Cloud.
  • Script and program deployment/operations for production systems.
  • Update incident cases in the IT Service Management system and maintain proper documentation/reporting.
  • Participate in on-call rotation, drive incident resolution, live troubleshooting, and impact mitigation.
  • Evaluate, implement, and maintain software build processes and automation tools.
  • Lead best practices for build and release operations across development teams.
  • Run and maintain product environments (dev, staging, sandbox, production).
  • Architect, build, and deploy secure infrastructure for Dev teams.
  • Monitor ticketing systems for issues and support timely resolution.
  • Standardize and document development/deployment operations.
  • Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Azure.
  • Manage Git/Azure repo workflows for source code management.

Qualifications:

Technical Skills-

  • 3+ years of Python development (2+ years in cloud/non-cloud automation).
  • Experience handling API calls (POST/GET/PUT) via Python.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security controls, IAM, access control, and modern hosting models (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS).
  • Azure certifications preferred; 2+ years Azure experience in large-scale ecosystems.
  • Experience with CI tools like Jenkins (preferred), TeamCity, Bamboo.
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks (Jira, Kanban, Confluence).
  • Git, GitHub, Stash, SVN, Bamboo, Nexus, Maven, Artifactory experience.
  • Windows & Linux administration, TCP/IP fundamentals, IaC concepts.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, ELK stack (preferred).
  • Knowledge of Terraform/ARM, Ansible (preferred), Chef, Puppet.
  • Exposure to database deployment on Azure (SQL Server, MySQL, CosmoDB, MongoDB).

Education & Experience-

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT/Computer Science or related field.
  • 3–7 years in Enterprise IT or equivalent work experience.
