Required Skills:
- Education: Bachelor's/Master's in Engineering or Built Environment.
- Experience: 7-10 years in sustainability consulting, preferably on international projects.
- Certifications: LEED (BD+C AP with v4.0 experience), Mostadam, Estidama, CEEQUAL. BREEAM/WELL AP beneficial.
- Technical Expertise:
- Building physics: heat transfer, thermal comfort, passive design.
- Compliance modeling, operational energy assessments.
- UAE/KSA building regulations.
- Climate-based daylighting analysis, life cycle carbon costing.
- Software Proficiency:
- IES VE (dynamic simulation).
- Microsoft PowerPoint, Word.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal English skills.
- Other Skills:
- Independent, solutions-focused.
- Mentoring junior staff.
- Multitasking under pressure.
- Interest in developing design tools and Net-Zero strategies.
- Lead delivery of sustainable design and building physics projects.
- Produce dynamic thermal models using IES VE.
- Generate reports: Part L, EPC, thermal comfort, daylight analysis, LZC.
- Act as Task Leader and collaborate with larger teams.
- Conduct:
- Thermal comfort and overheating risk assessments.
- Renewable energy feasibility studies.
- Embodied and whole life carbon appraisals (beneficial).
- Circular economy strategies and low-carbon materials (beneficial).
- Prepare and review energy and sustainability strategy reports.
- Provide consultancy for Net-Zero carbon buildings.
- Promote technical excellence and client satisfaction.
- Support business development through client care.
- Mentor and train junior staff.
- Degree in Engineering.
- 5-10 years in Building Physics/ESD/Sustainability (consulting preferred).
- Experience in energy and parametric modeling.
- LEED BD+C AP certified with v4.0 experience.
- Background in building services and sustainable design.
- Passionate, detail-oriented, and proactive.
- Excellent client service and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and prioritization abilities.
