Job Description: Executive FP&A & Accounts

Position Overview

As an FP&A & Accounts Executive, you will play a dual role leading the organization's financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis processes, while also ensuring accurate accounting, compliance, and financial reporting. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of financial principles and accounting standards. You will work closely with both operational and leadership teams to support strategic decision-making and maintain financial health.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Planning & Analysis:

  2. Assist in the development of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.

  3. Analyse financial data, including revenue, expenses, and profitability, to identify trends and areas for improvement.

  4. Conduct variance analysis to explain differences between actual performance and budget/forecast.

  5. Budgeting & Forecasting:

  6. Collaborate with department heads to develop departmental budgets and forecasts.

  7. Monitor budget vs. actual performance and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

  8. Continuously improve the budgeting and forecasting processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.

  9. Financial Modelling:

  10. Build and maintain financial models to support long-term financial planning, scenario analysis, and decision-making.

  11. Evaluate the financial impact of various strategic initiatives, investments, and business decisions.

  12. Conduct sensitivity analysis to assess the potential impact of changes in key assumptions.

  13. Accounting & Compliance

  14. Manage day-to-day accounting functions, including journal entries, reconciliations, and ledger maintenance.

  15. Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards.

  16. Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and statutory filings (GST, TDS, PF, ESI, etc.).

  17. Coordinate with auditors and ensure timely completion of internal and statutory audits.

  18. Cross-functional Collaboration:

  19. Work closely with finance, accounting, and other departments to ensure alignment between financial plans and operational activities.

  20. Collaborate with business leaders to understand their financial needs and provide analytical support.

Qualifications:

  • CA Semi Qualified or MBA or CMA Qualified

  • Proficiency in financial modelling tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau)

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Team player with a collaborative attitude and willingness to support colleagues across departments.
