Job Summary

As an Academic Coordinator, you will play a vital role in managing and strengthening the academic programs of the school. You will ensure the implementation of the CBSE curriculum standards, supervise teaching and learning processes, support teachers in instructional practices, and monitor student academic progress to uphold high educational quality and excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

Academic Leadership & Planning

  • Lead academic planning and execution of curriculum aligned with the CBSE framework.
  • Prepare and monitor academic calendars, timetables, and lesson plans for all classes.
  • Conduct regular meetings with teachers to discuss curriculum goals and academic performance.
  • Support implementation of innovative instructional strategies and best pedagogical practices.

Teacher Support & Supervision

  • Mentor and guide teachers on effective classroom instruction, assessments, and evaluation techniques.
  • Observe classroom teaching and provide constructive feedback for instructional improvement.
  • Facilitate teacher professional development and training sessions.

Student Academic Monitoring

  • Track student performance data, analyze trends, and identify areas requiring improvement.
  • Work with teachers to design remedial support and enrichment strategies for learning outcomes.
  • Oversee assessment processes, report cards, and academic evaluations to maintain high academic standards.

Communication & Coordination

  • Serve as a link between teachers, school leadership, and parents on academic matters.
  • Coordinate academic events — exams, workshops, academic contests, and parent-teacher meetings.
  • Maintain academic records, documentation, and reporting as per school policies

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education or any relevant discipline.
  • B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) — preferred or required as per CBSE academic leadership norms.
  • Prior experience in academic coordination, teaching leadership, curriculum planning, or similar roles is highly desirable.

Skills & Competencies :

Strong understanding of CBSE curriculum standards and best practices in teaching and learning.

Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Ability to mentor and inspire teachers to improve instructional effectiveness.

Proficiency with educational technology tools and digital learning platforms.

Strong analytical skills for evaluating student performance data.

Work Schedule

  • Full-time, typically 7:30 am – 4:30 pm or as per school schedule

Compensation :

  • Salary CTC: ₹38,000 – ₹48,000 per month (negotiable based on experience and qualifications).
  • Other benefits as per school policy.

Job Type: Full-time
