You will do:
  • Support PEU silicon leadership for ramping up the new site
  • Coordinate with People (HR & Talent Acquisition) team on aspects relating to employee joining and transfers, medical insurance, bank accounts, corporate credit cards, internet data connections, etc.
  • Coordinate with IT Asset and Infrastructure teams on aspects relating to laptops, mobile phones, other IT infrastructure and consumables.
  • Assist employees for overseas travel requirements including – visa letters, travel policy matters, corporate credit card issuance, etc.
  • Coordinate with Travel Desk and/or external agencies/vendors for travel reservations (as may be required), Hotel booking in and out of Bangalore, transportation for the employees and/or any visitors.
  • Place orders in Ericsson Systems and Tools (EB, Procurement tools, etc.) as may be required.
  • While many of your responsibilities can be planned, flexibility is key as the role also includes handling ad hoc duties. The most important job is to support the R&D personnel within the sub unit in carrying out their job. This could include other tasks, along the lines mentioned above.
  • As needed you will also support other assistants and selected RTE teams in addition to PEU silicon.
You will bring:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree.
  • 3+ years experience as an Assistant, Senior Assistant or in equivalent support roles.
  • Excellent social and communication abilities. Positive and can-do attitude
  • Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills with the ability to balance structured tasks and ad hoc demands.
  • Strong sense of duty and initiative
  • Independent, self-motivated and well organized with analytical mind and high degree of attention to detail.
  • Reliable, service minded, careful and discreet (confidential).
  • Demonstrably trustworthy (thru reference checks)
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and electronic document management systems.
  • Fluency in English (verbal and written)
  • Fluency Hindi and Kannada (at least oral, preferably written also)
