Principal Software Architect

Industry: Information Technology & Services — Enterprise Software, Cloud-native Platforms and Digital Transformation. This is an on-site leadership role based in Hyderabad, India.

About The Opportunity
We are hiring a Principal Software Architect to lead solution design and technical strategy across multiple product and client engagements. You will drive architecture decisions, mentor engineering teams, and ensure delivery of robust, maintainable systems that meet business SLAs. This is a hands-on role that blends technical leadership with pragmatic execution in an on-site Hyderabad environment.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and own solution and system architecture for large-scale, distributed applications and platform initiatives.
  • Design cloud-native, microservices-based systems, covering API strategy, data flows, security, and scalability patterns.
  • Provide technical leadership across multiple engineering teams: code reviews, architecture reviews, and mentoring to raise delivery quality.
  • Establish and enforce engineering best practices: CI/CD, observability, testing strategy, and release/rollback procedures.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with Product, QA, Infrastructure, and DevOps to translate business requirements into technical roadmaps.
  • Evaluate new technologies, create PoCs, and recommend pragmatic adoption paths that balance innovation and risk.

  • Experience leading engineering teams and driving cross-functional technical programs to on-time delivery.
  • Excellent understanding of security, performance optimization, and operational excellence in production systems.

Location & Working Model

  • On-site role based in Hyderabad, India — candidates must be available to work from the office full time.
