Key Responsibilities:
Plan and execute all aspects of cinematography, including camera setup, lighting design, composition, and shot selection.
Lead and manage the camera and lighting crews on set.
Scout and assess locations for lighting and shooting conditions.
Select appropriate camera gear, lenses, and equipment based on the project's visual goals.
Maintain high standards for image quality and visual consistency across all scenes.
Work with the post-production team to ensure the final look aligns with the intended cinematographic style.
Manage budgets and timelines related to cinematography and camera departments.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Director of Photography or Cinematographer with a strong portfolio or showreel.
Deep knowledge of camera systems, lenses, lighting equipment, and rigging tools.
Strong understanding of cinematography techniques, color theory, and lighting principles.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to changing schedules or creative direction.
Strong collaboration skills with directors, producers, art directors, and editors.
Familiarity with post-production processes.
Degree or diploma in Film, Media, or related field is preferred but not mandatory.
