Ct Technician

Role & responsibilities

• Prepare patients for CT scans by explaining the procedure and answering queries.
• Position patients correctly to obtain quality diagnostic images.

• Ensure patient safety and comfort during the procedure.

• Operate and maintain CT scan machines and related equipment.

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures as per prescribed protocols.

• Monitor image quality and make adjustments as required.

• Follow radiation safety guidelines and use protective measures.

• Adhere to infection control and hospital safety policies.

• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

• Perform daily calibration and quality checks of CT equipment.

• Report any technical faults to the service/maintenance team.
• Ensure proper care and upkeep of machines and workstations.

Preferred candidate profile

• Diploma / B.Sc. in Radiology / Imaging Technology (DMLT, B.Sc. MIT or equivalent).
• Certification/training in CT Scan technology preferred.
• 13 years of relevant experience (freshers with CT training can also apply).
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and imaging techniques.
