Store In-charge

Key Responsibilities of Store In-Charge:

1. Inventory Management

2. Maintain accurate records of stock levels, goods received, and goods issued

3. Conduct regular stock audits and physical inventory checks.

4. Report low stock levels to the purchasing department for timely replenishment.

5. Storage and Organization

6. Store items systematically to ensure easy retrieval and reduce material damage

7. Ensure proper labeling and tagging of items with batch numbers, expiry dates (where applicable), and other identifiers.

8. Issuance and Coordination

9. Issue raw materials and tools to the production team based on approved requisitions

10. Coordinate closely with the production, quality control, and maintenance teams

11. Track returns of unused or defective materials and handle accordingly

12. Documentation and Compliance

13. Maintain GRNs (Goods Receipt Notes), issue slips, transfer notes, and disposal records

14. Ensure documentation complies with company policies and audit requirements

15. Safety and Housekeeping

16. Ensure safe handling and storage of hazardous and sensitive materials.

17. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse/store area.

18. Comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

19. Equipment and Tools

20. Monitor the condition of tools and equipment issued to technicians.

21. Maintain a register of tool issuance and ensure timely returns or replacements.

22. Market visit is mandatory.
