Job Description – Store Executive

Location:
Musalgaon MIDC, Sinnar

Department:
Stores & Inventory Management

Reporting To:
Store Manager / Plant Head / Admin & Accounts Head

Working Days & Time:
Monday – Saturday, 09:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Salary:
20K to 25K

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inventory & Stock Management

2. Maintain accurate records of all inward and outward materials (raw material, packing material, finished goods, engineering spares).

3. Ensure proper stacking, identification, and tagging of materials as per FIFO/FEFO system.

4. Conduct daily/weekly/monthly physical stock verification and reconcile with system records.

5. Material Inward & Outward

6. Verify GRN (Goods Receipt Note) against purchase orders and supplier invoices.

7. Coordinate with Production, Purchase, and Dispatch departments for smooth material flow.

8. Issue spare parts, packing material, and consumables to concerned departments and update records.

9. Documentation & ERP

10. Maintain stock registers (manual & ERP/software).

11. Ensure compliance with audit requirements (challans, invoices, stock reports).

12. Support monthly MIS and stock valuation reports.

13. Coordination & Vendor Management

14. Liaise with suppliers, transporters, and purchase department for timely material supply.

15. Assist in raising purchase requisitions based on stock levels and production needs.

16. Compliance & Safety

17. Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Food Safety norms while storing materials.

18. Maintain hygiene, pest control, and safety measures in the store area.
19. Ensure proper documentation for statutory compliance.

Skills & Competencies:

• Knowledge of
  inventory control, engineering spares, and storekeeping practices.
• Familiarity with
  MS Excel, ERP software, or inventory management tools.
• Strong analytical and coordination skills.
• Understanding of
  mechanical spares and production requirements.

Qualification & Experience:

• B.E. (Mechanical Engineering)
  – Mandatory.
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience
  in
  stores/inventory management
  (preferably in manufacturing, food, or FMCG industry).
